About the Project

We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer / AI Platform Engineer to join a team working on cloud-based AI and data platforms.

The role combines Python backend development, data engineering, AWS, DevOps, and AI/LLM technologies. You will work on production-grade services, data pipelines, and AI-powered solutions, including RAG-based applications and document analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Build and maintain REST APIs and cloud-native backend components
• Design and implement ETL pipelines for processing and transforming large datasets
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Develop and operate containerized applications using Docker
• Work with AWS cloud services and modern DevOps practices
• Contribute to AI/LLM platform development, including RAG-based solutions and document analysis tools
• Support CI/CD processes and ensure reliable production deployments

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Python software engineering
• Strong backend development experience with FastAPI and REST API design
• Hands-on experience with ETL pipelines, data processing, and transformation
• Good understanding of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Practical knowledge of AWS, especially:
  • AWS Glue
  • AWS Batch
  • Amazon ECS
  • Amazon S3
  • Amazon ECR
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Previous experience working on AI/LLM projects

Nice to Have

• Experience with LLM/RAG-based applications
• Experience with document analysis platforms or chat interfaces
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with OpenTelemetry
• Understanding of OAuth2
• Experience with cloud-native architectures
