Business Systems Manager — ERP & AI (Odoo)

About the Project

A US-based group of companies operating in industrial equipment service, fulfillment, utilities and contracting. Each legal entity runs its own Odoo database. You will personally own ERP across all of them; this is a hands-on implementation role, not a coordination or help-desk position.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own Odoo end-to-end across multiple company databases; you implement personally, not manage contractors
• Map business processes and configure Odoo: Accounting, CRM, Sales, Projects, Purchasing, Inventory, Field Service, Fleet, Maintenance, HR, Reporting
• Profile, migrate, validate, and reconcile master data and open transactions
• Design and build custom modules, scripts, APIs and ERP integrations
• Validate in staging and deploy to production, you hold full deployment authority
• Run cutovers, train users, and support the system after go-live
• Use AI as a working tool for analysis, development, testing and documentation
• Report directly to the CEO

Must Have

• 3+ years of hands-on Odoo implementation experience
• At least 3 completed end-to-end implementations with personal responsibility for configuration and go-live
• Odoo Accounting plus operational applications
• Multi-company/,multi-entity environments with strict data separation
• Odoo.sh administration: staging, production deployment, backup, rollback
• Python, XML, PostgreSQL, Odoo APIs, data migration, custom modules
• Practical use of AI in implementation, development, or testing
• English B2+, daily calls with the CEO and user training

Nice to Have

• Experience working with US-based clients
• Odoo certification (not required, implementation history matters more)

Conditions

• Fully remote
• Full-time, 8:00–16:00 Mountain Time (17:00–01:00 Kyiv)
• Direct work with the CEO, full ownership of the system, no layers of approval
• No test task or trial project. Selection is by portfolio, structured interviews and verification of past implementations
