Middle Java Developer

Atlaslive is a dynamic iGaming platform that provides the best quality software solutions for iGaming business. We’re building a microservices-based platform on Java/Spring Boot (billing, authentication, user management, gaming services) with high requirements for reliability and performance.

We’re looking for a Middle Java Developer to join the team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our product services.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of commercial experience with Java.
• Solid knowledge of Spring Boot / Spring Framework (Web, Data JPA, AMQP).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar), understanding of transactions and optimistic locking.
• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
• Understanding of microservices architecture principles and REST APIs.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Knowledge of Git, experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain REST APIs and AMQP handlers (RabbitMQ listeners/publishers) within a microservices architecture.
• Design and implement business logic using Spring Boot (services, repositories, JPA domain entities).
• Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
• Write unit and integration tests (JUnit 5, TestContainers, WireMock).
• Participate in code reviews and follow code quality standards.
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents.
• Collaborate with the team (backend, DevOps, QA) on designing new feature.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Redis.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Experience with TestContainers, WireMock.
• Familiarity with Gradle.
• Experience in the gambling/betting industry or high-load financial systems.

• 60 minute call with CTO and Architect.
