About the Project

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to join the Asset Management technology team.

The role focuses on both functional and automated testing of investment management applications. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and robust solutions.

The main focus will be on developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright or Cypress with C#, as well as database testing and validation using SQL.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end functional and automated testing of web-based applications
• Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or Cypress with C#
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios based on business and functional requirements
• Verify application functionality, data accuracy, integrity, and end-to-end business processes
• Perform backend database testing and validation using SQL queries
• Review test results, identify and document defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
• Ensure sufficient test coverage for new features and existing functionality
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Identify opportunities to improve automation frameworks, testing strategies, and QA processes
• Support regression, integration, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in software testing
• Strong hands-on experience in both functional and automated testing
• Practical expertise with Playwright or Cypress
• Strong programming skills in C#
• Experience developing, improving, and maintaining automated testing frameworks
• Solid knowledge of test design techniques, QA practices, and software testing methodologies
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries for database validation and testing
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into delivery workflows
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar application lifecycle management tools
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
