QA/AQA Trainee Engineer (Java) (IRC302444)

Job Description

• Knowledge of Java and OOP.
• Understanding of QA documentation (requirements, test cases, bug reports).
• Understanding of manual testing processes and readiness to perform manual QA tasks when necessary.
• Working with Git version control.
• Intermediate English level (sufficient for direct client communication).
• Team player

Nice to have:

• Understanding of mobile testing, including iOS and Android specifics, as well as Appium.
• Ability to write and optimize XPath locators.

Job Responsibilities

• Work within an AQA engineering team using a black-box testing approach (no access to application source code).
• Write, review, and adjust automated tests for iOS and Android platforms.
• Execute test runs and comprehensively analyze the results.
• Communicate directly with the client team based in Canada.
• Work on remote machines and environments.
• Develop and improve new and existing test infrastructure.

Department/Project Description

The client is a Canadian telecommunications provider. The product is designed to create an End-to-End automation flow based on the modern IoT technologies stack for real-life use cases validation of the IoT and Smart Home ecosystem. The new product is intended to have the ability to test hundreds of IoT devices as part of a complex ecosystem, which is impossible to do manually.
