As our products continue to grow, we're looking for a Junior+ Backend Developer who is passionate about backend development, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and wants to build reliable, scalable software used by players worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for our gaming platforms.
- Work with Go or Python to build scalable and reliable backend solutions.
- Design, implement, and integrate REST APIs and internal services.
- Work with databases and write efficient SQL queries.
- Investigate and troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and production incidents.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Collaborate closely with QA Engineers, Product Managers, and other Developers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical discussions.
- Contribute to improving system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Work with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Learn and apply modern technologies related to gaming, Web3, blockchain, and AI.

Requirements
- 1+ years of commercial backend development experience.
- Professional experience with either Python or Go.
- Good understanding of backend development principles and software architecture basics.
- Experience building or integrating REST APIs.
- Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge.
- Understanding of relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git and standard development workflows.
- Understanding of HTTP, JSON, and client-server architecture.
- Ability to read and understand existing code and independently investigate issues.
- Basic understanding of testing principles and writing unit tests.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ownership mindset.
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
Nice to Have
- Experience with both Go and Python.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or other backend data stores.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
- Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Experience with high-load or real-time systems.
- Knowledge of performance testing or optimization.
- Interest in Web3, blockchain, AI, or iGaming technologies.
