About the Project
We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with strong Keycloak and IAM experience to join our team.
You will work on a technically challenging international project involving backend development, identity management, system integrations, and security-focused functionality.
Location: EU or Ukraine (remote)
English: B2+
Workload: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend functionality using Java;
- Work with Keycloak-based identity and access management solutions;
- Configure and customize authentication and authorization functionality;
- Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems;
- Work with APIs and modern authentication protocols;
- Participate in architecture and technical decision-making;
- Contribute to application security and access-control practices;
- Work with containerized environments and CI/CD processes;
- Conduct code reviews and maintain high engineering standards;
- Collaborate with an international development team.
Skills Required
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience;
- Strong commercial experience with Java;
- Hands-on experience with Keycloak;
- Experience customizing Keycloak authentication flows and/or UI/themes;
- Good understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM);
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization concepts;
- Experience working with modern authentication protocols and standards;
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs;
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments;
- Understanding of CI/CD and modern development workflows;
- Good understanding of application security principles;
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset;
- B2+ English communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes;
- Experience with enterprise identity integrations;
- Linux experience;
- Automation or scripting experience;
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools;
- Experience with cloud environments;
- Frontend experience with Angular, React, Vue.js, or similar technologies;
