Java + Angular Developer

We're looking for a full-stack developer comfortable working across Java and Angular to help build and evolve a data-intensive platform. On the backend, you'll work with Java 21, building REST APIs, service logic, and database access, with a particular focus on CQRS read-model projection — consuming events and projecting them into read models with eventual consistency. On the frontend, you'll implement solid, functional Angular + TypeScript interfaces (this role is implementation-focused rather than UX-driven). You'll also work with Apache Kafka for event consumption, design contract-first REST APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger, and handle data migrations between schema versions. PostgreSQL sits at the core of the data layer, so query optimization, materialized views, indexing, and partitioning are all part of the day-to-day. This is a good fit for someone who's equally comfortable on both sides of the stack and is happy incorporating AI-assisted development into their workflow.

About the project: 
The project is a data-intensive platform built around an event-driven, CQRS-based architecture, where writes are captured as events and projected into optimized read models for querying. The backend is built on Java 21, exposing contract-first REST APIs consumed by an Angular-based frontend. Apache Kafka is used to move events reliably between services, and the read side is backed by PostgreSQL, with attention paid to query performance, materialized views, indexing, and partitioning as data volumes grow. The platform is evolving through schema changes over time, so part of the work involves migrating data between read-model versions without disrupting consumers. The team is actively incorporating AI-assisted development practices across both the Java and Angular parts of the stack. It's an environment suited to developers who like working through both the backend data/event architecture and the frontend that consumes it.

You have:

• ≥4 years of professional experience in software development
• ≥2 years of experience with Java and ≥2 years with Angular/TypeScript
• Demonstrable experience with CQRS or comparable read/write-separation patterns
• Solid implementation ability in Angular + TypeScript (this role is not UX-focused)
• Experience with Java 21 (REST APIs, service logic, database access)
• Knowledge of CQRS read-model projection (eventual consistency, projecting events into read models)
• Experience with PostgreSQL (query optimization, materialized views, indexing, partitioning)

• Fluent English (C1)
