Senior Backend Developer (Node.js)

Format: Remote, outstaff

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript
• Build and optimize high-load backend services processing real-time data and serving millions of users
• Develop and optimize marketing and mass-notification pipelines, including bulk messaging campaigns for a multi-million user base
• Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and other messaging technologies
• Work with ClickHouse for analytics and high-volume data processing, as well as MySQL/PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Design and develop internal CRM solutions to support customer data management and business operations
• Ensure high performance, reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance of backend services
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to design and deliver scalable solutions

Required Qualifications

• Mandatory: proven commercial experience in the gambling/betting industry, working with high-load products serving millions of users
• 5+ years of commercial backend development experience
• Expert-level knowledge of Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript
• Strong experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar message brokers
• Hands-on experience with ClickHouse or other big-data/analytical storage solutions
• Strong knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proven experience designing and implementing microservice and event-driven architectures
• English — Intermediate or above

• Experience working with FinTech or crypto platforms
• Experience with Python (Django/Flask) and Celery
• Experience with AWS or GCP
• Previous experience working in remote or outstaffing teams
