Our team is looking for a Junior JavaScript Developer to support the development and maintenance of custom SharePoint solutions, including specific forms, pages, portals and internal systems, with a focus on JavaScript, HTML, CSS and basic Microsoft 365 integrations.
The role is suitable for a Strong Junior who can deliver well-defined technical tasks independently, ask the right questions, and grow toward Middle-level ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain small to medium SharePoint UI customizations, forms and pages using JavaScript, HTML and CSS, based on clear requirements or technical guidance.
- Work with SharePoint lists and libraries as a data layer: display, validate and update data in custom interfaces.
- Support integrations within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, such as Microsoft Forms, SharePoint and simple Power Automate flows.
- Fix bugs, implement minor improvements and stabilize existing SharePoint custom solutions without disrupting business processes.
- Participate in basic testing, peer reviews and preparation of short technical notes for implemented changes.
- Additionally, as a growth area: clarify simple requirements, estimate smaller tasks with support, prepare demos for completed functionality and provide post-release support.
Must-Have Requirements:
- 1+ year of commercial or strong project-based experience with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML and CSS.
- Basic hands-on experience with SharePoint customization: custom pages, forms, interfaces, lists or libraries.
- Understanding of how SharePoint stores data and how custom UI can interact with lists and libraries.
- Ability to read, maintain and improve existing JavaScript code with attention to quality and business impact.
- Understanding of basic integration logic within Microsoft 365, for example SharePoint plus Forms or simple Power Automate flows.
- Good debugging habits, careful implementation and willingness to document changes clearly.
- Intermediate+ or higher English proficiency.
Nice-to-Have (Advantages):
- React or another modern frontend framework at a basic or learning-project level.
- Power Apps / Power Automate experience, especially simple UI layers or flows over SharePoint list data.
- Experience with Google Apps Script or other scripting-based integrations.
- Experience with Excel, data transformation or basic reporting logic.
- Basic awareness of SharePoint permissions, roles and access-related risks.
- Experience working in a corporate or client-facing environment.
