Senior QA Automation Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for building and owning the company's automated quality strategy from the ground up. This includes developing end-to-end test automation, performance testing, AI evaluation infrastructure, and validation processes while integrating everything into the CI/CD pipeline.

You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure the platform remains reliable, scalable, and compliant with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain an end-to-end automation framework using Playwright.
• Build automated UI, API, integration, and backend tests.
• Create AI evaluation infrastructure, including regression testing and validation for AI-powered features.
• Design and execute performance, load, and stress testing.
• Develop Computer System Validation (CSV) documentation, including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and traceability matrices.
• Build and maintain reliable test environments and test data.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve release quality.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Readiness to work from 16:00 till 01:00 in order to have an optimal overlap of work hours with USA based teams.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Development in Test (SDET).
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (or another modern browser automation framework).
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as k6, Locust, JMeter, or Gatling.
• Experience working in regulated environments with validation documentation (21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, or GAMP 5).
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL).
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
