Lead .NET MAUI Engineer (.Net, C#, AWS)
About the role:
As a .NET MAUI Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. This project is with a global Financial Services Provider that focuses on providing responsible credit to underbanked customers in international markets. The current strategy centers on consolidating technology delivery to a single partner to drive efficiency and operational excellence.
You will join the Customer Application. The primary mobile application serves as a critical self-service tool for over 800,000 users. It is currently undergoing a technology refresh, migrating to a modern framework to improve scalability, performance, and accessibility compliance across the organization's European footprint.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for solution architectures and setting the strategy across businesses, developing innovative ideas and tracking emerging issues
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding development teams and ensuring scalable software delivery using DevOps best practices
- Design, develop, and maintain complex software systems, driving high-quality code production and defining system architecture
- Act as a force multiplier by improving team processes and guiding software deliveries from conception to deployment
- Manage and oversee implementation against architectural standards and designs, engaging closely with product and architecture stakeholders
Mentor and develop software builders, providing technical leadership and fostering a collaborative engineering community
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in major and complex architecture design and programme implementation
- Deep technical expertise in mobile application development including .Net MAUI, React Native, and AWS
- Expert proficiency in C#, .Net Core, REST APIs, and both Android and iOS operating systems
- Expert knowledge of AWS components (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, Fargate, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation)
- Extensive experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Kibana
- Specialist business knowledge with the ability to manage teams and engage in high-level client relationship management
Desirable:
- Familiarity with the Product Operating Model and advanced AWS services like X-Ray
- Strong focus on emerging 'AWS Cloud' technologies and innovative marketplace ideas
- Ability to forge close links with architects, developers, and analysts to build quality-driven communities
- Fluent English speaking with excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement
