Senior .NET Developer

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our team and work on a B2B platform for certified online courses and training materials in a specialized professional niche.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop features across .NET Core and legacy VB.NET / Web Forms codebases
• Quickly understand unfamiliar code and make clean, minimal, well-targeted changes
• Refactor and modernize existing code incrementally, without large-scale rewrites
• Work with MySQL on a live production database — schema design, indexing, query optimization, and safe versioned migrations
• Ensure proper testing and deliver stable, consistent releases
• Conduct code reviews and support team members in solving complex tasks
• Document key technical decisions (e.g. in ADRs or a shared knowledge base)
• Clearly explain and justify technical decisions to the team

• Communicate effectively with team and US-based client, with at least ~1 hour of overlap with US Mountain Time

   

Requirements:

• 4+ years of commercial .NET development experience
• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET, with ability to read and work in legacy VB.NET + Web Forms
• Deep understanding of Entity Framework (EF Core) and manual SQL
• Strong hands-on experience with MySQL specifically
• Proficient in Git and Azure DevOps
• Experience with unit/integration testing, including covering legacy code
• Responsible, controlled use of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.) — validating AI output and documenting significant decisions

• Upper-Intermediate English or higher

   

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Telerik UI, Blazor, or .NET MAUI
• Experience with Azure, IIS / Windows Server
• Background in aviation, eLearning, or other regulated domains
