Middle General QA (Java) (5593)

Our client is one of Europe's fastest-growing mobile companies with 6 million active customers, 1,000 employees worldwide, and operations in five countries. The client is using the mobile virtual network operator business model.

We are looking for a Middle General QA to join the backend team responsible for a big set of microservices.
 

Responsibilities:

Testing

• Manual testing of APIs and services
• Functional, regression, and integration testing
• Smoke and sanity testing
• API testing (REST)
• Exploratory testing
• Verifying issues via logs

Documentation

• Writing test cases and checklists
• Creating and maintaining test documentation
• Bug reporting in tracking systems (Jira)
• Participation in requirements analysis
• Test coverage analysis

Automation (partial)

• Writing automated tests in Java
• Maintaining existing automated tests
• Contributing to test automation development

           Process Involvement

• Participation in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
• Collaboration with developers and product team
• Test planning and estimation
• Risk assessment
   

Requirements:

• 3+ years of QA experience
• Strong knowledge of testing theory and methodologies
• Basic Java knowledge (Core Java, OOP principles)
• Experience with API testing (Postman, SoapUI)
• SQL knowledge (queries, joins)
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira)
• Git basics
• Knowledge of testing types and techniques
• Intermediate+ English (written and spoken)
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail

Would be a plus:

• REST Assured knowledge
• CI/CD understanding (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Knowledge of design patterns
• Postman/SoapUI
• Experience with AWS, Azure
• JSON/XML
