Middle Java SDET Engineer

The team develops and maintains real-time, high-load distributed systems that process hundreds of billions of requests while delivering responses in milliseconds. 
The primary focus of this role is building and enhancing the automated testing framework and test infrastructure that ensures the reliability, scalability, and quality of these mission-critical services.

Who We're Looking For:

A Middle Java Developer with solid Java Core expertise who has experience building backend applications and wants to contribute to automation infrastructure, testing frameworks, and engineering quality for large-scale distributed systems.

Working Hours:

• 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM EEST (shifted schedule)
  
  Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop automation testing infrastructure for large-scale distributed systems
• Build and maintain scalable, reusable test frameworks
• Improve build pipelines and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment processes
• Design testing strategies for complex microservices and highly integrated systems
• Investigate production and testing issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve system reliability
• Research and prototype new testing technologies and automation approaches
• Collaborate closely with developers, SDETs, product managers, and project teams to deliver high-quality software
• Contribute to engineering best practices and continuous quality improvements
  
  Must-Have Skills
• 2+ years of commercial experience with server-side Java
• Strong Java Core knowledge:
  • Java 8+

• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience writing native SQL and using Hibernate (or similar ORM)
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and microservices

  • Mocking frameworks
• Linux experience
• Experience configuring or working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
