Senior IOS AI-Enabled Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design and ship features end-to-end in a large modular Swift/Objective-C iOS app.
• Drive code quality through reviews, refactoring, and enforcement of module boundaries.
• Improve app performance, stability, and runtime behavior.
• Contribute to shared infrastructure - build tooling, codegen, testing, CI.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial iOS development at production scale.
• Experience designing scalable mobile architectures (MVVM, TCA, Clean Architecture, VIPER, or similar).
• Strong Swift (modern concurrency, generics, macros) and Objective-C for interop.
• Deep hands-on experience with SwiftUI - state and data flow (Observable, State, Binding, Environment), view composition, performance and view-invalidation, List/ForEach identity, animations, and interop with UIKit.
• Solid UIKit skills: custom controls, complex layouts, and interface animations.
• Strong grasp of OOP, protocol-oriented design, and common iOS patterns.
• Experience with modular architectures, dependency injection, and unidirectional data flow (UDF).
• Testing: XCTest, Swift Testing, Quick/Nimble.
• Build tooling: Fastlane, XcodeGen, SwiftPM, SwiftLint/SwiftFormat.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Xcode Cloud, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins, or similar).
• Profiling with Instruments - able to diagnose and fix CPU, memory, hitch, and hang issues.
• Familiarity with MCP servers and agentic development workflows is a strong plus.

AI-enabled software development:

• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents in day-to-day software development.
• Ability to break down engineering goals into clear, well-scoped tasks for AI agents.
• Ability to provide effective context, constraints, acceptance criteria, and validation steps.
• Strong awareness of the risks and limitations of AI-generated software.
• Ability to distinguish where AI can accelerate delivery and where human judgment is essential.
• Interest in exploring and improving agentic development workflows.
• Willingness to share effective workflows and lessons learned across engineering team.
