Middle Embedded Engineer (Automotive)

It is one of the largest Tier 1 semiconductor and microcontroller vendors for automotive, industrial, home electronics, and other industries worldwide. The Company is cooperating with the world’s biggest car manufacturers, providing them with high-quality, cutting-edge, and comprehensive integrated cockpit and automotive computing platforms.

The team at GlobalLogic is providing a full-cycle R&D service to the customer. The main responsibility is the bring-up of the newest versions of the Android OS on customer-specific hardware, including system requirements analysis, new feature development and bug-fixing, system integration, and validation.

Job Description

BA, MS degree in software engineering, computer science, or other related fields
Good knowledge of C/C++
Good knowledge and experience in multithreading
Good knowledge of Linux, including experience in the development of Linux
Experience in troubleshooting and debugging complex issues, profiling, and system performance optimization.
Experience in working with and creating software development documentation
Intermediate+ spoken and written English

Job Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and bug-fixing of Android-specific OS-level features.
Contribute to the performance analysis and optimization of the existing system.
Contribute to HAL development.
Porting customer-specific features to the newest Android versions.
Take part in the analysis of system requirements and customer requests
Take part in different PoC projects.
Cooperate with other teams worldwide to follow up on product development and integration with other solutions.
