Devops/Platform engineer
We are looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer to help modernize our infrastructure by containerizing Java services, designing Kubernetes platforms, and building scalable cloud-native environments. This role is focused on platform engineering rather than traditional operations—you will design and implement infrastructure from the ground up, optimize distributed systems, and improve the performance of large-scale data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Containerize existing Java Spring services using modern container technologies.
- Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes platforms from scratch.
- Develop and improve cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and re-architect bottlenecks in complex data pipelines.
- Build scalable, reliable, and highly available platform solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define infrastructure architecture and best practices.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency across cloud environments.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Java 21.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker or similar).
- Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes, including designing and building greenfield Kubernetes environments—not just maintaining existing clusters.
- Strong experience with AWS.
- Deep expertise with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including designing and deploying cloud infrastructure from scratch.
- Experience building and operating cloud-native platforms at scale.
Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture, networking, and distributed systems.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tools such as Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps, Operators, or similar.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and platform automation.
- Experience optimizing autoscaling, resource utilization, and cluster performance.
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and performance tuning.

We're looking for someone who can architect cloud infrastructure, improve scalability, and drive platform reliability across AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) while supporting the modernization of Java-based services.
