Backend Developer (Node.js / Nest.js)

We are looking for strong Backend Developers to join our growing product team.

Projects:

• Sweeptakes platform (US market)
• Online Casino (South America)

Locations:

• Prague office (full-time, official employment in Czech Republic)

Budget: up to $4000 net per month

What you will do:

• Development and maintenance of microservices
• Integration with external payment systems and game aggregators
• Development and support of payment modules
• Implementation of new product features (categories, bonus systems, etc.)
• Database design, schema creation, indexing, migrations and query optimization (SQL + NoSQL)
• Work with infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
• Participation in code review, testing and mentoring
• Support of current architecture and participation in building a new one

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of commercial experience with Node.js and Nest.js
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript
• Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding the importance of reliable and clean code (SOLID, architecture, maintainability)
• Experience with payment systems integration and building stable financial solutions (idempotency, transactions, webhooks, reconciliation)
• Good English level (B1+)

Will be a big plus:

• Go language (we have some microservices on Go)
• Unit & Integration testing
• ClickHouse
• Experience with live casino / streaming / real-time events
