This is a hands-on role with significant technical ownership and close collaboration with Product, Payments, Finance, Compliance, and Fraud teams.
Required Qualifications (Must-Have)

- 5+ years of back-end development experience with Node.js and TypeScript in high-load fintech environments, including payments, banking, and trading.
- 3+ years of experience as a Full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript Developer.
- Proven experience integrating multiple PSPs through APIs, SDKs, webhooks, hosted fields, iFrames, or redirect-based payment flows.
- Strong understanding of payment lifecycles, including authorization, capture, settlement, refund, reversal, dispute, and chargeback processes.

You can independently investigate failed transactions, work with PSP logs and technical support, and turn complex business and compliance requirements into reliable technical solutions.
You are comfortable building a payments function from the ground up, making architectural decisions, and taking ownership of the full transaction lifecycle.

- Develop reconciliation processes for transactions, settlements, fees, refunds, reserves, and chargebacks.
- Build dispute and chargeback workflows, including evidence collection and deadline tracking.
- Investigate payment incidents, provider outages, delayed callbacks, and reconciliation discrepancies.
- Improve payment approval rates and checkout conversion through technical and performance analysis.
- Develop payment-related front-end components for deposits, withdrawals, payment statuses, and error handling.
