Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Duck Agency helps B2B companies automate their operations using tools like Make, n8n, and Airtable โ cutting manual work and building systems that scale. We're growing our pipeline and looking for an experienced SDR to drive it.
The Role
You'll own top-of-funnel growth: prospecting outbound, and building a referral/partner channel (agencies, consultants, SaaS tools in our ecosystem) that feeds us qualified leads on an ongoing basis. This isn't a "send 200 emails a day and hope" role โ you're building a real pipeline engine, not just hitting activity metrics.
What You'll Do
- Run outbound prospecting across email, LinkedIn, and cold call/warm call touches to book qualified discovery calls with decision-makers at target companies
- Identify, reach out to, and onboard referral partners โ agencies, freelancers, and complementary tool vendors โ who can consistently send us leads
- Build and manage a partner pipeline: track relationships, follow up, keep the referral channel active (not a one-time handshake)
- Qualify inbound leads from the website and content when they come in
- Keep CRM data clean and up to date (we run on ClickUp/Apollo-style tooling) โ no lead falls through the cracks
- Work closely with founders/closers to hand off qualified opportunities with proper context
Test and iterate on messaging, sequences, and targeting โ report back on what's converting and what isn't
What We're Looking For
- 1โ3 years of SDR/BDR experience in B2B, ideally selling services (agency, consulting, SaaS) rather than pure transactional products
- Proven track record of booking meetings through outbound (not just working inbound leads)
- Experience building or working a partner/referral channel is a strong plus โ if you've done it before, say so explicitly in your application
- Comfortable with cold outreach tools (Apollo, Instantly, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar)
- Strong written communication โ your cold emails need to not read like cold emails
- Self-directed: this is a remote role, we need someone who manages their own pipeline without hand-holding
- Bonus: familiarity with automation/no-code tools (Make, n8n, Zapier) or an interest in how AI/automation is changing sales
