Embedded Developer

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Embedded Developer to join and support a project team.

Tasks:

• Develop and enhance embedded HMI applications using Qt/QML and C++ in Linux-based environments.
• Implement new features and support the further development of existing software components.
• Analyze and troubleshoot software issues in embedded systems.
• Integrate backend services and hardware interfaces into embedded HMI solutions.
• Create, maintain, and execute unit tests for Qt/QML and C++ applications.
• Contribute to source code management and collaboration using Git workflows.
• design and implementation of scalable Qt/QML application architectures.

Qualifications:

Knowledge in:

• Qt/QML development
• C++
• Embedded Linux
• Git workflows
• C++ unit testing
• Development of embedded HMI applications
• Relevant experience in embedded software development (minimum 2 years)

Knowledge and experience in the following areas would be considered an advantage:

• Advanced Qt/QML development and architecture
• Advanced C++ knowledge
• Qt/QML unit testing
• Advanced Git workflows
• CAN-Bus
• J1939
• Integration of hardware interfaces and communication protocols
• Senior-level experience (5+ years) in Qt/QML-based embedded development environments
