Senior Front-End Developer (Vue 3 / TypeScript)
Full Remote · EU + Ukraine · 4+ years of experience · English – C1 · Igaming/Gambling Founding Engineering Team
Role Overview:
You will be our front-end engineer — singular, for now. The platform's interface is where our clients will spend their working day: admin consoles, dashboards, configuration flows. Dense, state-heavy screens that have to be fast and comprehensible. This is not marketing-site work; it is serious application software, built in Vue 3 and TypeScript.
We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer who cares equally about code architecture and the experience of the people using it, and who can defend both in a discussion. With no design team between you and the product, that second half matters more here than it would elsewhere.
Key Responsibilities:
Owning the front end end to end — architecture, component structure, state management, data layer and caching strategy;
Developing web applications in Vue 3 and TypeScript, and setting the quality standard rather than inheriting one;
Building the design system and shared component library from the ground up, so the product stays coherent as it grows;
Working directly with the back-end engineer on API contract design — you will help define the interface, not just consume it;
Optimising for performance across browsers and devices: bundle size, time to interactive, rendering of large lists and tables;
Writing and maintaining unit and end-to-end tests to ensure code reliability and application stability;
Treating accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) as part of development rather than as a later audit;
Establishing the front-end practices the next engineers we hire will work inside.
Required Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience as a Front-End Developer and demonstrate proficiency in:
- Strong understanding of pure JavaScript and extensive experience with TypeScript — types as a design tool, not decoration;
- Solid understanding of design patterns;
- Proficiency with Vue 3 and the Composition API, or with another modern framework (React, Angular 2+) plus a genuine interest in working in Vue;
- Familiarity with the Vue ecosystem: Pinia, Vue Router, VueUse, and component libraries such as PrimeVue, Vuetify or Element Plus;
- Strong fundamentals: semantic HTML, modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, custom properties) and the browser event model;
Build tools such as Vite and Webpack; - Professional-level proficiency with Git, including branching strategies and collaborative workflows;
- Unit and end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g. Vitest, Vue Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress);
- Product sensibility: you ask the right questions before building the screen you were asked for;
- Advanced (C1) level of English proficiency.
Nice to Have:
- Experience as an early engineer at a startup, or as the first front-end hire somewhere;
- Building and maintaining design systems or component libraries;
Data-heavy applications: virtualised tables, charts, real-time editing; - B2B products, admin consoles or developer tooling;
Working knowledge of Node.js and NestJS, to make cross-layer collaboration easier.
What We Offer:
Compensation - 2000$ to 3000$.
Direct access - you work with the founders daily; there is no layer between you and the decision;
Fully remote across the EU;
Flexible schedule - we measure results, not hours;
Paid time off - 22 vacation days per year + 5 sick days (without medical confirmation);
Creative Freedom - We believe the best ideas thrive when people have real autonomy. Here, you don't need permission to think differently. You have room to experiment, fail, and adjust course.
