DevOps Engineer

Softengi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer for the project of a leading Ukrainian telecommunications company!

Required skills and experience:

• 3+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD processes and hands-on experience with Git, GitLab CI, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Argo CD.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Groovy for scripting and automation.
• Strong experience with Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Deep knowledge of RedHat Linux distributions (CentOS, Fedora, Oracle Linux) and experience with VMware.
• Solid experience with ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Practical knowledge of Ansible.
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including MariaDB, Oracle, Cassandra DB, and Redis.
• Understanding of REST, JSON, XML, and SOAP.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and hands-on experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban).
• Intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English.

Nice to Have:

• 2+ years of background in software development.
• Knowledge of Java (Core, Java 8/17) and build/testing tools such as Maven, Gradle, and JMeter.
• Telecom domain expertise, including understanding of billing and provisioning architectures, VAS (Value Added Services), and basic GSM network architecture.
• Experience in setting up and managing Kafka / Zookeeper clusters.
• Experience working with authentication systems such as LDAP.
• Strong technical writing skills for maintaining infrastructure documentation.
