QA Engineer Offline

We're looking for a smart QA engineer who can operate independently on a small remote team — flexing between manual, automation, and exploratory work as the situation calls for it, using AI tools to move faster.
 

What you'll do:

• Own QA across multiple projects — manual, automated, and exploratory
• Build and maintain automated test suites
• Catch the bugs developers miss — including the ones that aren't obvious from the ticket
• Work directly with developers from Jira tickets through to release
• Use AI tools (Claude Code) as a core part of your QA process — writing test cases, generating test data, analyzing failures, exploring edge cases, documenting bugs, and accelerating everything in between
   

Must-haves:

• Real QA experience — you've owned quality for a real product
• Comfortable with automation
• Self-starter — you figure out what to test, not wait for assignments
• Daily, hands-on use of AI tools — we'll ask you about your workflow
• Comfort working async in a remote team
• English proficiency
