Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Whom We’re Looking For
We're looking for a QA to own quality end-to-end across our core cybersecurity products. You'll sit at the intersection of QA engineering, cybersecurity, and AI agent testing - orchestrating test processes, stabilizing release pipelines, and building the test infrastructure that lets us ship stable products to customers faster and more frequently.
You'll work closely with sales engineers, cybersecurity researchers, and software engineers throughout the development lifecycle. Beyond writing tests, you'll become a product expert who understands the purpose of every feature, where bugs originate, and how our AI agent architecture should behave under pressure.
What You’ll Do
Core QA Ownership
- Design and own end-to-end integration, smoke, and regression test suites for core product areas
- Create and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test metrics dashboards
- Schedule automated test suites to run continuously against production and dev environments
- Validate system behavior across functional, integration, and regression testing
Stability & Release Quality
- Stabilize production and dev environments to enable more frequent, predictable releases
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and enforce release quality gates
- Debug test failures, perform root cause analysis, and iterate on coverage gaps
AI Agent & Cybersecurity Testing
- Understand how our AI agent-based cybersecurity product works and design tests that validate its behavior end-to-end
- Collaborate closely with the cybersecurity team to understand expected product outcomes and edge cases
- Test AI-driven features - not just using AI tools to write tests, but testing the AI agents themselves
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work alongside software engineers, sales engineers, and the cybersecurity team throughout development
- Participate in design and code reviews with a quality and maintainability focus
- Evolve into a product knowledge owner – the person who knows how every feature works, what to expect, and where bugs tend to hide
Must-Have Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer
- Ability to read and write code in at least one language - Python, JavScript/TypeScript, Go
- Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks from scratch
- Solid understanding of software development and testing best practices
- Exposure to cybersecurity products or security-adjacent domains; offensive security or red team experience is a strong plus
- Understanding of how AI agents work - you need to know how to test them
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of quality outcomes, and become a product expert
Nice to Have
- Experience testing AI-driven or LLM-powered products
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Experience with distributed or cloud-native systems
- Background in high-reliability or security-sensitive system testing
