QA Automation Engineer

Reyo Media Cyprus develops high-performance web products, marketing websites, and browser-based games. We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to help establish and scale our quality assurance and automation practices across multiple project types.

This is a hands-on, part-time role for someone who enjoys building QA processes from the ground up, selecting the right tools, and creating automation strategies that improve product quality and development efficiency.

Requirements:
 

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including significant automation experience.
• Proven experience building QA processes and automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.
• Experience testing modern web applications and websites.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA best practices, and SDLC.
• Experience designing test plans, test cases, checklists, and bug reports.
• Good understanding of client-server architecture, APIs, and browser technologies.
• Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:
 

• Design and implement the company's QA automation strategy and processes.
• Evaluate, select, and establish automation frameworks and testing tools.
• Build and maintain automated end-to-end, functional, and regression test suites.
• Create testing standards, quality gates, and release validation processes.
• Develop automation solutions for web applications, websites, and Unity WebGL games.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing when necessary.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and verify software defects.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor test results and continuously improve test coverage and reliability.
• Provide guidance and best practices for quality assurance across the team.

You will work across a variety of products, including:

• React.js Single Page Applications (SPAs) and landing pages
• WordPress websites
• Unity WebGL games

Nice to have:
 

• Experience testing Unity WebGL games or browser-based games.
• Familiarity with performance, load, and security testing.
• Experience with WordPress website testing.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing standards.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms.
