Senior C++ Backend Developer Offline

We're looking for an experienced backend developer to play a key role in building and evolving the server-side of our product. You'll be working on a high-load, real-time system where performance, scalability, and clean architecture matter. This is not about maintaining legacy code — it's about designing, improving, and refining a complex backend that serves a live product with real users.

🧩 Must-have skills:

• 🧠 Strong knowledge of modern C++ (C++17 / C++20 / C++23)
• 🗄 Hands-on work with Redis, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
• 📄 Experience with Swagger / OpenAPI specifications
• 📨 Knowledge of RabbitMQ or similar message brokers
• 🌐 Strong understanding of REST API and WebSocket communication
• ⚙️ Experience with parallelization and multithreaded systems
• 🏗 Solid OOP fundamentals and practical use of design patterns
• 🔍 Ability to easily understand existing codebases and confidently refactor them with better solutions

✅ Nice to have:

• 🐍 Experience with Python
• 🛠 Experience with Pistache for building REST services
• 🖥 Familiarity with Qt / QML
• 🔁 Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• 💻 Bash scripting skills
• 🐳 Experience working with Docker

🌍 Location & schedule:

• Remote, from anywhere except Ukraine
• Working hours aligned with Ukraine time zone (EET)
• Daily standups every working day at 12:00 (Kyiv time)
• Occasional readiness for overtime when urgent tasks with tight/burning deadlines come up
