Embedded Engineer

Our company Strikersoft with offices in Kyiv, Stockholm, Bucharest and 15 years history, is expanding the team and looking for Embedded Engineer. 

About the project:

This is an embedded/DSP project in the domain of audio processing and networked audio devices.

The work involves real-time audio processing on MCU/DSP platforms (NXP / STM, Cortex-M33), as well as integration of peripherals and network services. The system is designed to operate reliably in challenging environmental conditions, including smoke, dust, low visibility, and poor lighting.

Your responsibilities will Include:

• Solid knowledge of C and C++ for low-level programming.
• Profound understanding of device drivers and MCU hardware I/O interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART.
• Experience in real-time operating systems (RTOS), especially FreeRTOS.
• Good working knowledge of Git version control.
• Understanding of TCP/IP client-server architecture and practical experience in network programming.
• Familiarity with radio electronics and digital radio systems.
• Proficiency in English for technical communication.
• Hands-on experience in Python development.
• Practical experience in designing and building electronic devices.

Desired skills:

• Understanding of principles for writing multithreaded, high-performance scripts in Python and C/C++.
• Experience with packet radio programming.
• Familiarity with TI Code Composer Studio or Eclipse IDE.
• Experience in developing application software for wireless networking technologies such as BLE.
• Experience in application software and driver development for wireless devices (e.g., GPS, narrowband packet radio).
• Experience in application software and driver development for MEMS sensors (e.g., 3D accelerometers).
• Ability to develop software across various operating systems including Windows, Linux, iOS, Android.
• Strong foundational knowledge in electronics.
