Your tasks
- You implement data engineering / streaming technologies and frameworks (e.g. Apache Kafka, Spark, Hadoop)
- You participate in designing and maintaining cloud-based, distributed systems and structured application, event logging for analytics and machine learning
- You deploy, monitor, troubleshoot and optimize multi-tier applications in distributed systems at scale
- You ensure the continues improvement of the cloud or on prem environment

Job Requirements

- University degree in Computer science or similar.
- Thorough knowledge and 1+ year experience in configuring and running Kafka clusters in the cloud or on prem
- 1+ year experience in using containerized applications using e.g. Docker and Kubernetes
- 1+ year experience in data streaming platforms
- 1+ year experience in administering SQL or NoSQL data bases
- 2+ year experience in running CI/CD pipelines using e.g. Jenkins, GIT. You are familiar with agile
- Know how in using cloud services (Azure, GCP or AWS)
- Fluent English business language, German language skills are preferred
