Full-Stack Developer (Ruby on Rails + Next.js) — EdTech

We're a bootstrapped EdTech platform that has been growing for 15 years with 100,000+ active students. Our small async team is looking for a skilled full-stack developer to join us long-term and take ownership of features across the entire stack.

About the project

Established EdTech product with a real user base, stable revenue, and a long-term roadmap. You'll be working on meaningful features — not maintenance tickets — alongside a small team that values deep work, autonomy, and async communication.

Ruby on Rails · Next.js · React · PostgreSQL

What we're looking for

• Production experience with both Ruby on Rails and Next.js — both are required, not optional
• Strong React fundamentals — able to write hooks from scratch, comfortable without heavy IDE assistance
• AI-native workflow: you actively use tools like Cursor, Claude, or Copilot in your daily development
• UTC+2 timezone (or close to it)
• Available 30+ hours per week, looking for a long-term engagement
• Russian- or Ukrainian-speaking (team communication is in Russian/Ukrainian)

Hiring process

Part of the process includes a ~1-hour proctored skills test on TestDome (Rails + React). Please be ready for this step upfront — we'll let you know before scheduling it.
