Electronics Technician

Vidar Systems is a Ukrainian startup in the field of acoustic technologies, operating at the intersection of military defense and security. We develop acoustic systems that accurately determine the location of enemy objects (including artillery and drones) by sound. 

We are looking for an Electronics Technician to assist in the development and troubleshooting of electronics, handle the integration of new modules into our systems, and strengthen the R&D team.

Your key responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve technical issues

• Select off-the-shelf components to meet project requirements

• Test and integrate components into existing systems (e.g., radio, GPS, weather stations)

• Perform soldering and basic electronics assembly

• Configure software and, where possible, write or modify code

Our requirements:

• Knowledge of electric circuit schematics

• Basic knowledge of Python and C programming languages

• Diverse professional experience with electronics and software

• Proficiency with tools: soldering station, multimeter, oscilloscope, and signal generator

• Ability to integrate off-the-shelf components into systems and resolve issues that arise in the process

• Aptitude for problem-solving through logical thinking and creativity

Nice to have:

• Engineering degree

• Understanding of the principles of sound wave physics
