Project:
Conduct a Phase 1 technical audit of a critical Maritime & Logistics system and deliver a recommendation for migration from Oracle WebLogic to JBoss EAP or WebSphere Liberty.
Responsibilities:
- Audit legacy Java EE codebase (EJB 2/3, JMS, JNDI, WebLogic-specific features)
- Identify migration risks, blockers, and platform dependencies
- Map WebLogic features to JBoss / Liberty equivalents
- Prepare key deliverables: audit report, gap analysis, migration recommendation, and high-level roadmap
Collaborate with client teams and DevOps (Azure)
⭐We think you’ll enjoy this role if you’ve worked with:
- 8+ years in Java EE / Jakarta EE
- Strong experience with WebLogic and legacy EJB (2.x / 3.x)
- Proven WebLogic → JBoss or WebSphere migration experience
- Deep knowledge of JMS, transactions (JTA/XA), and SOAP/REST APIs
- Ability to audit complex legacy systems independently
English B2+
⭐Will be a plus if you’ve also worked with:
- JSF / JSP
- SQL Server
- Azure / DevOps exposure
- Experience writing migration strategies
