QA Automation Engineer (AI Automation Focus)

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who can go beyond standard test automation and apply AI to improve and scale QA processes.

This is a hands-on role where you will own QA from scratch and build automation that reduces manual effort — including leveraging LLMs in real workflows.

You will be the sole QA engineer, working closely with developers on an AI-powered product.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain test automation infrastructure from scratch
• Own the full QA process (automation + manual where needed)
• Improve product stability and reliability together with the engineering team
• Design automation that reduces repetitive QA work
• Apply AI tools and LLMs to testing workflows (not just usage, but integration)
• Contribute to testing AI-driven features

Requirements

• 5+ years in QA Automation
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python
• Strong experience building automation frameworks from scratch
• Experience with Playwright
• Experience with GitHub
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership

AI Automation Experience (Required)

We are specifically looking for hands-on experience applying AI in real workflows, not just using coding assistants.

Examples of relevant experience:

• Integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) into automation pipelines
• Generating test cases or test data using AI
• Analyzing logs, test results, or failures with LLMs
• Building scripts or tools where AI helps make decisions or reduce manual QA work

Important:
Using tools like Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT as assistants is not sufficient.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing AI / LLM-based products
• Understanding of frontend frameworks
• Experience with TypeScript
• Startup experience
