.NET Developer

In a partnership with a global consulting company, we are looking for a Mid-Level .NET Developer to join our engineering team. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining high-performance business applications that empower organizations to manage their operations with precision. The client is a UK leader in business management and financial technology solutions.

This is a "builder" role where you will contribute to a sophisticated codebase, utilizing WPF for powerful desktop experiences and .NET MAUI to expand our reach across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Build and refine application features using C# and XAML, ensuring high-quality UI/UX consistency.
• Code Modernization: Assist in migrating and maintaining shared logic within .NET Standard 2.0 libraries to support a unified codebase.
• Cross-Platform Implementation: Work on the transition of desktop functionalities into .NET MAUI, helping us reach users on various devices.
• Quality Assurance: Write clean, testable code and participate in peer code reviews to maintain our high standards of engineering excellence.
• Problem Solving: Debug complex issues across the stack, from UI data-binding glitches to backend logic optimizations.

Technical Requirements

• C# Proficiency: 3+ years of professional experience with the .NET framework/platform.
• Desktop UI: Strong experience with WPF, including a solid understanding of XAML, Data Templates, and Resources.
• Mobile/Cross-Platform: Working knowledge of (or a strong desire to master) .NET MAUI.
• Shared Libraries: Experience working with .NET Standard 2.0 to facilitate code sharing between projects.
• Design Patterns: Solid understanding of the MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) pattern.
• Tools: Familiarity with Git, NuGet package management, and Visual Studio.
