C# Team Lead with DevOps and architectural skills

About: the first dating application that differentiates itself through mandatory ID verification (Vouched) and background checks (CheckrIDI Data) for every member. The platform is designed to create a trusted environment where users can connect with confidence. Startup in a growth phase, entering the v2.0 “Ignite” release cycle

The entire stack runs on Microsoft Azure with code managed in GitHub and CI/CD orchestrated through Azure Pipelines.

Role Summary

The Engineering Lead will serve as the top technical decision maker, owning architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, vendor integrations, and team management. This is not a pure management position - the ideal candidate is a builder who can also lead.

Core responsibilities include:

Lead a distributed engineering team (outsourced team in Ukraine and Poland + in-house US-based developer(s))

Own the technical architecture and make infrastructure decisions across Azure cloud services

Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments (25 existing Azure Pipelines + GitHub Actions workflows)

Deploy application updates Apple and Google app stores

Drive the product roadmap from the engineering perspective

Help manage vendor technical engineering relationships (Checkr, IDI Data, Vouched, GetStream, Stripe, Auth0)

Resolve critical production issues and background MyTruDate and MyTruCheck data quality problems

Report directly to the CEO and communicate engineering status to non- technical stakeholders
