What You’ll Do
 

• Design, build, and maintain test automation infrastructure from scratch
• Ensure product quality through a combination of automated and manual testing
• Take full ownership of QA processes as the sole QA engineer
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve product stability and performance
• Design and implement AI-driven automation to scale testing and QA processes
• Contribute to testing AI-driven features and workflows
  
   

Requirements
 

• 5+ years of experience in test automation
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python
• Proven experience building automation frameworks and infrastructure from scratch
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of QA processes
• Willingness to combine automation with manual testing when needed
• Experience with Playwright
• Experience with GitHub
   

Required: AI-Driven Automation Experience

They are specifically looking for candidates who have hands-on experience building AI-powered automation, not just using AI tools as assistants.
 

Candidates must demonstrate experience developing systems such as:

• AI agents, pipelines, or autonomous tools that solve testing or engineering problems
• Automation that reduces manual QA effort and scales testing processes
   

Examples of relevant experience include:

• Building an agent that generates test cases from specifications or pull requests
• Creating automated pipelines that triage, reproduce, or fix flaky tests
• Developing tools that use LLMs to analyze test results, logs, or coverage gaps
• Designing systems where AI autonomously runs, evaluates, and iterates on test suites

Important: Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude) alone is not sufficient.
 

Nice to Have

• Understanding of frontend frameworks
• Experience testing AI/LLM-based systems
• Experience with TypeScript
