We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Trainee Java Developer to join our team in Lviv!

What You'll get to do:

• Take part in collecting odds data from bookmakers, both from dedicated XML/JSON feeds – using Java – and from websites – site scraping;
• Offer technical support for existing clients.
• Take part in the daily maintenance and monitoring of developed odds collectors and other internal tools.
• In addition, it is of very high importance to maintain the highest possible quality of data collected from existing sources.

What You need to know:

• Java 21: Virtual Threads, Sequenced Collections, Sealed Classes, 
  HttpClient​
• Multithreading: Threads, ExecutorService, ReentrantLock, basic synchronized, CompletableFuture​
• Streams & Optionals: Fluent with Stream API, Optional, aware of OM OptionalUtils​
• Collections: Clear understanding where and how to use List, Set, Map, Queue, Dequee, Collections.synchronizedMap, ConcurrentHashMap, Immutable collections​
• Regex: Basic usage with Pattern and Matcher for text parsing and validation​
• HTTP Basics: Knowledge of HTTP methods – GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, and their typical use cases
• Version Controll - SVN, Git
  
  Nice to Have:
• Java projects from school, personal work, or internships.
• Exposure to Jsoup or similar parsing libraries. Interest in sports or betting.
• Experience building web scrapers.​
• English: A2+
