.NET Engineer

For more than 5 years, we have been organizing sports tournaments, broadcasts, and developing our own sports community. We hold 45+ thousand events per month in esports and classic sports. BETER products are known all over the world — our content is represented in 150+ countries.

We are currently looking for a .Net /C# Developer.

Responsibilities:

• Writing code in C# in the implementation of tools and products on a daily basis;
• Writing unit tests for functionality;
• Maintaining software development practices, such as coding conventions and code reviews;
• Troubleshooting, finding out how to prevent them in development.
• Writing technical documentation (technical design documents, architecture documentation, technical specification, etc.)
• Participation in team meetings: stand-ups, grooming, task assessment, planning, retro, etc.

Requirements:

• Write clean, high-quality C# code (.NET Core, ASP.NET Core), understand OOP and SOLID concepts, and understand design patterns.
• Understanding of the algorithmic complexity;
• Have good knowledge of the .NET ecosystem: tools, libraries, frameworks;
• Experience in RDBMS/NoSQL: knowledge of the principles of operation of engines, ability to profile queries, understanding of the logic of indexes.
• Follow DevOps practices and experience in their application: automation of development tools and quality assurance, monitoring, tracing, and debugging.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
