We are seeking a skilled frontend developer with 4-5 years of experience in Next.js and React to join our innovative biomedical startup. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building responsive, user-friendly web applications and a passion for creating cutting-edge user interfaces for healthcare software.

QOVES is a biomedical startup focused on improving patient experiences in cosmetic medical clinics through software. We develop AI-powered applications that predict post-surgery appearances and assist in diagnosing the necessity of cosmetic procedures. Our goal is to transform cosmetic surgery consultations into a well-defined, clinical process of diagnosis and visualization through our software integrations with clinics.

Your Role

• Developing and maintaining our web applications using Next.js and React

• Collaborating with our AI and backend teams to integrate complex functionalities into user-friendly interfaces

• Implementing responsive designs that work across various devices and screen sizes

• Optimizing application performance for maximum speed and scalability • Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code

• Participating in code reviews and contributing to our frontend architecture decisions

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in frontend development

• Strong proficiency in Next.js and React

• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or Recoil)

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL

• Version control with Git

• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to address them

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a startup environment

• Knowledge of TypeScript

• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles

• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library 

• Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
