Junior Frontend Developer

We’re looking for a motivated and curious Trainee / Junior Frontend Developer who wants to grow fast and build real-world products.

This role is perfect for someone at the start of their career who already has a basic understanding of web development and is eager to level up with hands-on experience.

You’ll work alongside experienced developers, designers, and product managers, contributing to real features and learning best practices in a supportive team environment.

Please note that we offer a hybrid work format with mandatory in-office presence in Lviv!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting in developing features in React applications
• Working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+) to build UI components
• Integrating with REST / GraphQL APIs (with guidance)
• Fixing bugs and improving existing functionality
• Building responsive layouts based on design specs
• Writing simple scripts and functions inside low-code / no-code editors (e.g., Appsmith-like tools)
• Learning and applying best practices in code quality and performance
• Participating in code reviews and team discussions

• Continuously improving your technical skills

   

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Familiarity with React.js (pet projects or courses are OK)
• Understanding of how APIs work (REST or GraphQL basics)
• Basic understanding of Git
• Understanding how to write scripts/functions in low-code environments (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Desire to learn and grow (this is essential 💯)

• Attention to detail and willingness to grow

   

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with Next.js
• Basic knowledge of state management (Redux, Zustand)
• Experience with any UI library (Material UI, Tailwind CSS)
• Understanding of responsive design
• Any experience with low-code platforms (Appsmith, Retool, etc.)

• Any pet projects or GitHub portfolio
