Our client is a US-based startup building AI-powered tools for product and engineering teams, focused on autonomous “agentic AI” systems that turn product requirements into working features directly within real codebases. Their platform integrates with tools like Jira, Git, and design systems to generate production-ready code, reuse existing components, follow company standards, and automatically create pull requests.

The solution operates within real development environments and is designed to understand codebase structure, dependencies, and architecture, enabling it to act more like an experienced developer than a basic assistant.

Our client is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer who is a talented and enthusiastic individual to join their team, working on a cutting-edge AI tool designed for software developers. Key Requirements:
🔹 5+ years of experience in test automation;
🔹 3+ years of hands-on Python development (back end)
🔹 3+ years of experience with Playwright (TypeScript), understanding of working with React-based frontend applications.
🔹 Proven experience building automation infrastructure from scratch;
🔹 Comfortable working independently and owning QA as a one-person team;
🔹 Experience testing LLM-based systems; Strong experience in implementing and integrating AI tools for test automation. The candidate should have built autonomous AI-powered agents, pipelines, or tools to solve testing or engineering problems
🔹 Willingness to do manual testing when needed;
🔹 English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.

What you will do:
🔹 Own the full QA cycle as a one-person team — from strategy to execution;
🔹 Build and scale test automation from scratch using Python;
🔹 Develop and maintain API and E2E tests (Playwright);
🔹 Perform manual testing for new features and complex scenarios when needed;
🔹 Test AI/LLM-based functionality, focusing on output quality and edge cases;
🔹 Work closely with engineers to define test scenarios and ensure high-quality releases;
🔹 Drive improvements in test coverage, processes, and overall product quality;
