QA Automation (Playwright ) engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a Middle QA Automation Engineer (Playwright) to join our team and ensure high quality of a complex SaaS platform.

You will work on

• End-to-end testing of core user flows
• Validation of complex business logic (pricing, contracts, ingestion)
• Building and maintaining automated test coverage

You will be involved early in the development process (shift-left approach).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated E2E tests using Playwright
• Validate complex user flows (rate ingestion → processing → quoting)
• Test calculation-heavy logic (pricing, breakpoints, totals)
• Work closely with developers and PM to define test scenarios
• Perform regression testing and ensure system stability
• Analyze failures and identify root causes
• Improve test coverage and testing strategy
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in QA Automation
• Strong experience with Playwright
• Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
• Understanding of E2E testing principles
• Experience testing web applications
• Ability to work with complex scenarios and edge cases
   

Nice-to-Haves (but not compulsory)

• Experience with API testing
• Experience testing data-heavy or analytical systems
• Experience with performance testing
