Hardware Engineer

Project Description

Development of a portable, high-fidelity audio device integrated with AI assistant capabilities. The project focuses on creating a high-performance consumer electronics product with a focus on quality sound and battery efficiency.

What will you do

• Developing circuitry solutions and PCBs for battery-powered wearable device;
• Developing schematic diagrams according to technical specifications and routing 4+ layer boards accordingly;
• Writing technical documentation for the developed devices (documentation for manufacturing, assembly, testing, manuals, etc.);
• Providing technical consultation during the testing phase and introduction to production;
• Providing technical support during the mass production phase (in case issues are identified);
• Designing PCBs to fit within ready-made enclosures;
• Selecting optimal components during PCB development;
• Adhering to standards and regulations during the design process;
• English Proficiency: Upper-Intermediate (B2). Ability to conduct technical discussions, participate in meetings, and write professional documentation/emails for international clients.

What You Need For This Position

• Degree in a relevant technical field;
• Experience with and confident proficiency in Altium;
• Understanding of and experience with electronics - calculating and simulating circuits (analog and digital);
• Experience in routing 4-6 layer printed circuit boards (PCBs) and bringing them to mass production;
• Experience with "dense/miniature" designs (e.g., smartwatches, wearables, SoM carriers);
• Experience designing and routing rigid-flex printed circuit boards (PCBs);
• Experience working with RF (radio frequency) circuits and high-frequency signals;
• Experience designing devices with consideration for certification requirements (LVD, EMC);
• Experience in preparing documentation for PCB manufacturing and assembly;
  English Proficiency: Upper-Intermediate (B2). Ability to conduct technical discussions, participate in meetings, and write professional documentation/emails for international clients.

Hiring Process

• Stage 1: Prescreen Interview (20 min);
• Stage 2: Interview with HR (40-60 min.);
• Stage 3: Technical Interview (60-80 min).
