About the role
Receptor.AI is looking for a Sales Development Representative to support our outbound business development efforts and help expand relationships with prospective clients and partners. This role is focused on identifying relevant companies, reaching out to decision makers, qualifying interest, and booking meetings for the team.

This position is a strong fit for someone who is organized, proactive, comfortable with outbound outreach, and interested in working with an innovative AI driven company in the drug discovery space.

 

What you’ll do

  • Research target companies and identify relevant decision makers across pharma, biotech, and related sectors;
  • Build and maintain prospect lists aligned with the company’s commercial priorities;
  • Run outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels;
  • Personalize messaging for different company types, functions, and use cases;
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain outreach sequences;
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on relevance, interest, and potential fit;
  • Help move prospects from first contact to scheduled introduction calls;
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date;
  • Track outreach activity, lead status, responses, and next steps;
  • Monitor pipeline progress and support follow up discipline across opportunities;
  • Share feedback on outreach performance, objections, and messaging effectiveness.

 

What we’re looking for

Required

  • Experience in sales development, lead generation, outbound outreach, or a similar commercial role;
  • Willingness to learn and work within a complex, science driven domain;
  • Readiness to quickly develop an understanding of the drug discovery landscape, client needs, and Receptor.AI’s capabilities;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and personalized outreach messages;
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • English proficiency B2+ or higher.

     

Nice to have

  • Experience working with biotech, pharma, healthcare, AI, or other scientific products;
  • Experience with LinkedIn based prospecting and outbound email campaigns.
