We are looking for a Lead Frontend Developer to drive the development of complex, interactive web experiences using WebGL and Three.js.

This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership - you will own architecture decisions, guide the team, and ensure high-quality delivery of performance-critical visual systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of interactive web experiences using WebGL & Three.js.

• Own frontend architecture, rendering strategy, and performance optimization.

• Integrate Three.js functionality into React-based applications.

• Drive best practices in performance, rendering pipelines, and memory management.

• Mentor and support frontend engineers, provide technical guidance and code reviews.

• Collaborate closely with Product, AI, and cross-functional engineering teams.

• Make high-impact technical decisions and manage trade-offs.

• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and quality of the frontend codebase.

• Take ownership of delivery processes and technical outcomes.
 

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in frontend or web development.

• Strong hands-on experience with React.

• 3+ years of production experience with Three.js / WebGL.

• Deep understanding of performance optimization and rendering systems.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Proven experience in technical leadership or mentoring.

• Ability to design and scale complex frontend architectures.

• Strong ownership mindset and decision-making skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with React Three Fiber.

• Knowledge of GLSL / custom shaders.

• Experience with complex visual systems, editors, or CAD-like interfaces.

• Experience working in startup or product environments.
