Senior GCP Data Platform Engineer (Terraform, Kubernetes) $$$$

We are looking for a Senior GCP Data Platform Engineer to support a strategic cloud migration from AWS to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role is focused on building and maintaining a data-centric GCP environment, including data pipelines, infrastructure, and platform services.

🚀 Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data infrastructure on GCP
• Work with BigQuery for data warehousing and analytics
• Set up and manage Datastream and other GCP-native data ingestion tools
• Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes (GKE)
• Configure and maintain GCP environments (networking, IAM, services)
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Monitor system performance, logging, and reliability
• Continuously improve platform scalability, cost-efficiency, and performance
• Support cloud migration efforts from AWS to GCP
   

🧠 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with:
  • BigQuery
  • Datastream (or similar CDC tools)
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes (GKE preferred)
• Proven experience with Terraform
• Experience with cloud infrastructure setup and configuration
• Understanding of data pipelines / data engineering concepts
• Experience with monitoring & logging tools in GCP
• Ability to work independently in a senior/ownership role
   

➕ Nice to Have

• Experience migrating from AWS to GCP
• Knowledge of additional GCP data tools (e.g., Dataflow, Pub/Sub)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with security best practices in GCP
