Java Developer (Infrastructure) $$$$

The product portfolio includes 280 wireless and wired devices for security and automation. Today, Ajax protects over 4.5 million users in 187 countries worldwide.

We are looking for a smart, experienced, and technically proficient Java Developer to join our team in Kyiv office.


Required experience:

— 3+ years of backend or full-stack development
— Java: solid understanding, ability to read and extend existing services
— Experience building integrations with third-party APIs (Google Workspace, Atlassian, GitHub, etc.)
— Familiarity with webhook-based and event-driven integration patterns
— Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release management concepts

 

Nice to Have:

— Python: strong practical experience (scripting, REST APIs, automation)
— Google Chat API or similar messaging platform bot development
— Confluence / Jira API integrations
— iOS / Swift basics for lightweight internal mobile tools
— Grafana, Prometheus or similar for internal dashboards
— PostgreSQL / SQLite for lightweight persistence
— Familiarity with release automation tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
