Middle/Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (С#) in Lisbon, Portugal

On behalf of our Client from Portugal, Mobilunity is looking for a Middle/Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) on full-time engagement.

Our Client is building a new digital product with a strong 3D rendering component. Part of a broader initiative to scale digital solutions and establish a Data & AI Center of Excellence. They designs, engineers and manufactures structural connectors, fasteners, anchors, lateral-force resisting systems and related products for wood, steel and concrete construction in residential, commercial and infrastructure markets. The brand is widely recognized as the leading “genuine connector” supplier in North American residential construction and a global leader in structural product solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and execute end to end functional, regression, integration, performance, and automated tests. (60%)
• Develop and maintain overall manual and automated test plans for multiple software applications. (20%)
• Perform ongoing manual user acceptance tests based on completed development stories. Document and evaluate test results. (10%)
• Partner with business analysts/product owner to ensure requirements are understood for proper testing. (10%)

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, preferably in business, IT, computer science, engineering or another technology-focused field, or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years as a Software Developer in Test or similar role.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with integrating automated testing with CI/CD servers for continuous integration.
• 2+ years using C#, TSQL, HTML and other programming languages.
• Strong ability to produce and assess programming code (C#) to create and maintain automated tests.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with existing automated tests.
• Improve existing automated tests and/or design more ehicient tests.
• Understand the needs of a product and advise on and design testing strategies.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and teammates.
• Strong ability to write and understand C# and other programming languages.

Nice to Have:

• Team City build server knowledge.
• Git source control knowledge.

Tech Stack:

• Frontend: TypeScript, React (or similar), Three.js/Babylon.js, WebGL/WebGPU.
• Build Tools: GitHub, ADO, Terraform.
• Testing: Jest/Vitest, Playwright/Cypress.
• Backend Integration: ASP.NET.
