The company specializes in lead generation within the iGaming domain, primarily through SEO-driven solutions. They work on long-term client projects and are currently expanding their internal development team.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Lead / Senior Full-Stack Engineer who operates at a true senior / lead level — not by years of experience, but by depth of expertise and ownership.

This role is for someone who:

• takes full ownership of complex systems
• makes architectural decisions
• builds scalable solutions (not just features)
• sets and raises engineering standards within the team

Location & Format

• Remote
• EU time zone required
• Full-time, long-term cooperation

Language Requirements

• English — required for daily communication
• Strong English is a significant advantage

Team & Projects

You will join a stable team working on long-term lead generation platforms.

This is not a task-execution role. We expect you to:

• take ownership of complex technical decisions
• improve architecture and system performance
• raise the overall engineering bar within the team

Tech Stack

• PHP (Symfony)
• WordPress
• JavaScript
• HTML / CSS

Key Requirements

WordPress (must-have, advanced level)

• Experience building complex, large-scale WordPress systems (not content websites)
• Hands-on experience with WordPress Multisite (production)
• Strong experience with custom plugin development, including:
  • OOP
  • Composer / autoloading
  • Typed properties
• Experience with:
  • custom database structures
  • custom caching strategies (not plugin-based)
  • advanced use of WP_Query
  • improving developer & admin tooling

👉 If your experience is mostly theme customization or plugin usage — this role is not a fit.

PHP (strong senior level required)

• 5+ years with modern PHP (8+)
• Ability to design abstractions, libraries, and internal frameworks
• Experience with:
  • phpcs / phpcbf
  • custom sniffs OR PHPParser / AST
  • reflection & introspection
  • DTOs, Value Objects, clean architecture principles

Frontend / CSS

• Strong modern CSS skills (must-have)
• Understanding of browser rendering, layout, and performance

Performance & Optimization (critical)

• Deep understanding of Core Web Vitals
• Real experience with performance optimization (not just tools/plugins)
• Ability to identify bottlenecks and design custom solutions

Mindset & Approach

• deeply understand systems, not just tasks
• challenge “working solutions” and improve them
• proactively raise engineering standards
